Exhibition at Hobbs House Bakery Bistro, Nailsworth Gloucestershire
For this exhibition, Pippa wanted to create a series of paintings that reflected the context of their surroundings, so a theme of fruit and vegetables seemed appropriate.
Normally Pippa will take between 3 and 4 weeks to complete a large watercolour painting and this would be done mainly from photos that she has taken. However, for the Hobbs exhibition Pippa painted from life, working more loosely and quickly and on a much smaller scale.
The paintings were created in either oil or acrylic, a selection of which are shown below.
